About Us
Turkius Law & Mediation & IP Services was founded in 2024 by Fatma Karakülah, a lawyer since 2010 who also works as a mediator, trademark attorney, and legal consultant. Based in Istanbul, our firm provides modern, solution-oriented, and multilingual legal services both within Turkey and internationally.
Our office offers comprehensive services in areas such as contract law, commercial law, intellectual property law (especially trademark and design registrations), personal data protection, corporate law, litigation and enforcement proceedings, alternative dispute resolution, cross-border investments, and legal compliance. We also offer effective solutions to our clients in intellectual property matters such as trademark & industrial design monitoring, oppositions, and registration processes.
Turkius Law provides legal services that extend from local to global, supporting clients not only in Turkey but also in European countries such as Germany and Switzerland. As a member of the international legal network WILL (Worldwide Independent Lawyers League), we work in coordination with partners in over 70 countries.
Our Story
The name “Turkius” is a combination of the Latin word ius, meaning “law” or “right,” and our dedication to Turkish law. The fusion of “Turk” and “ius” represents Turkish law and, with the suffix “-ius” in English, also conveys a sense of Turkish identity. Thus, “Turkius” stands for a legal approach rooted in Turkish law but with a reach that extends beyond borders.
Our Mission
Our mission is to offer reliable, efficient, and accessible legal services in accordance with international standards; to address our clients' issues with a fast, practical, and solution-oriented approach; and to support cross-border legal needs with a comprehensive perspective.
Our Vision
Our vision is to offer innovative, digitalized, and sustainable legal solutions to clients operating in various countries, by combining Turkish and international legal systems—and to represent a new-generation legal practice.
